Questions parents ask
Can a teacher or therapist see what we do at home?
Yes, and it works both ways. Open your child'syour teen's reader, tap Share a reader, and send the one code to their teacher or therapist. They sign in with their own email, and from then on you share that one reader back and forth: you read at home during the week, and when your childyour teen arrives for their session the therapist opens the app and picks up exactly where you left off, same step, same story, same report. Either of you can stop sharing at any time, and nothing else in your account is ever shared.
I’m not a teacher. Can I really do this?
Yes. You read lines off a screen and tap ✓ or ✗. Every teaching line, every correction, even the praise is written for you, with audio for every new sound.
Is this a replacement for a specialist?

What ages is it for?
Ages 3 to 18. Children who are not reading yet (about 3 to 6) start with sound play and story time, then tiny books they read themselves. Children who read a little, or are behind (about 5 to 10), read the adventures with you. Older readers (11 to 18) get a grown-up look and more independence. Start is set by skill, never by grade.
What if my child is way behind?
The check will say so honestly, at the start, not after months. This program can help, and a child far behind also deserves a free school evaluation. We give you the letter to request one.
15 minutes. Really?
Really, for every reader, from the youngest to teens running their own: about 15 minutes a night. Each child does their own 15 minutes; two children is about half an hour. A short session you actually do beats a long one that collapses by March. Miss a day? It just resumes.
Why is a parent part of it? Can't my child use it alone?
A beginning reader can't self-correct yet, so solo apps let mistakes get practiced. With you tapping ✓ or ✗ (older readers can mark themselves), every miss gets fixed. As their skill grows, the program hands them more to do on their own.
What do I need to run it?
Any phone, tablet or computer with a web browser. Nothing to install. A tablet or laptop is easiest for reading side by side; a phone works when that is what you have. Turn on Back up to your email in Settings and your readers follow you from one device to the next.
Will my price go up?
No. If you join now, you keep the founding family price for as long as you’re with us. Pausing doesn’t change it. If our prices change later, that’s only for families who join after.
